Backlink - What are backlinks: backlinks are links to a particular page, article, category, product, etc. from other websites. For a better position in organic search engine results, we will need to build backlinks on various phrases or keywords. The Google Search Engine thinks that a backgammon site has a much greater importance and gives it a touch.

In the Internet, there are companies selling SEO services that deal with the marketing of links, but I do not advise you to buy only links on good sites, even if they do not have a great authority.

The links in the content of an article or page have the highest value. If a link to our site is posted in the sidebar (right or left), without being surrounded by content that is related to our site, Google may consider it a promotion or link strength and you may be penalized.

Backlinks can also come from comments made on various blogs, forums, article directories, or web directories, etc. Below is an example of a link:

Code:
// Example link
<a SEO optimization onpage" href="https://webmastersmind.com/"> SEO optimization </a>
// Example Link
When search engine crawlers visit an article will also have to "read" the content to which the links refer to. If there were no links to another article or page on the article, the crawlers will leave the site.

Backlink related expressions:

  • Link Juice - a web page links to any of your articles or to the homepage of your site. This Juice Link helps to better categorize the article and also improves domain name authority.
  • No-Follow Link - when a website has a link to another website, but the link contains a "nofollow" attribute. Generally, a webmaster uses the "nofollow" attribute when connecting to an insecure site.
  • Internal Links - links that go from one page to another within the same domain. Without internal links, a website has little chance of promotion.

In my opinion, you should use backlinks because, from SEO perspective, these links demonstrate how popular a site is. In other words, each time a site sends visitors to your site via links, your site gains more credibility. When search engine spiders find a site to which many links are directed, they will conclude that the site is a quality site and should be the best place to find in the search results.

Here's what you should know about backlinks:

- This comes from relevant websites that publish quality content
- it should not be paid because Google does not appreciate this practice
-backlinks need to be done gradually. If they are created in a short time, it may seem as if you are trying to manipulate the search results and you will be penalized by the search engines.

Other ways to get backlinks are:
  • social networking - if you are active on social networks, you can make your brand known and get many important backlinks.
  • press communities - if you have something important to relate to, online press releases are a good way to increase the number of backlinks
  • posting content on other sites - this brings you more visibility and, implicitly, more backlinks.
